THINGS YOUR ELECTRICIAN WISHES YOU KNEW: Main Electrical Service - Pools

Here in Kansas summer is in full swing! The sun is shining,
everyone is at the pool, the lake or at home starting those
summer projects. For the interest of todays discussion, we will be talking mainly to the later.

Sheds, garages, car ports, pools, decks and every other kind of construction is either in process or in the planning stages. We here at Electrical Specialists are hoping we reach those in the planning stages. Scaling the project on paper, stringing out the dimensions, calling the city for permits, getting bids from contractors and doing their homework on the great google and YouTube machines.

As usual, we receive many calls this time of year requesting
quotes for any number of outdoor projects. Unfortunately,
sometimes we must be the bad guy and inform our clients they may have missed a crucial step in their planning process. Many times, through no fault of their own, they were unaware of the national and local codes and what is required in their area. Hopefully it is not too late, and they haven’t already begun work they will have to suspend and possibly remove. So, our intention here today, as your local electrician, is to get you ahead of the game and save you money and time with some simple tips to keep you clear of any major setbacks.
